The wall

Fred really knocked it out of the park on the fireplace wall.  I love these concrete panels - looks fantastic.

Tile Progress

Freddy is in the house, thus the tile is progressing.  He should have the majority of the work done this week and return later for the fireplace.

Floor tile continues

Fred continues to lay the floor tile.  Dave and Karen have chosen a nice porcelain that is the same throughout the house - I love the look, though it's hard to tell in this picture.

Drypack & Floor Warming

Despite some challenges scheduling the drypack guys, we managed to coordinate Kevin and Freddy to have the wire mesh then the floor warming put down (picture below shows the layout being planned out, before removing and putting the mesh.

The floor warming adds a little height to the tiled floor, but we'll be able to have a relatively smooth transition between the hardwood and tile.

Tile arrives

As we approach the finishing stage (finishing, not completion :-)!), we'll see the arrival of the finished materials in the next few weeks.  Starting with...tile!
